The Georgia Landlord Tenant Act (Title 44)

This is the legislative act that governs the relationship between Georgia landlords and their tenants. The legislature has established a high benchmark as to how this relationship should be handled and they have some severe penalties for those landlords who try to abuse tenants and ignore these laws. Landlords are advised to pay close attention to these laws in the management of their properties.
